Two Trainers. One Goal:
Calm, confident, canines.
Calm, structured dog group events – done properly.
Not your average dog training class.
Calm Canine Co is a group-based dog training company. Our sessions are designed to help dogs regulate themselves, stay engaged around distractions, and build confidence in real-world environments.
We combine calm, structured guidance with carefully managed social exposure – so dogs can learn alongside other dogs without pressure, overwhelm, or forced interaction. Owners are supported every step of the way, with clear explanations and practical skills that carry over into everyday life.
Why we’re different…
Most group classes focus on commands in controlled spaces.
We focus on calm behaviour in the environments dogs actually live in
Real world environments
We don’t train in sterile halls.
Our sessions take place outdoors, around real distractions, so learning actually transfers to everyday walks.
Regulation before obedience
We prioritise nervous-system regulation, emotional control, and focus before asking for skills like loose lead or recall.
Guided, not chaotic
Dogs aren’t thrown together.
Every session is structured, spaced, and led with clear guidance so dogs can learn around others, not overwhelm each other.
Progression, not pressure
Dogs move through levels as they’re ready – from foundations to more advanced groups – without rushing or forcing outcomes.
Is this right for me and my dog?
